Samir Gargash
Group Chairman
Following his brilliant officer training at the world-renowned Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Great Britain, Mr. Samir Gargash returned to the Gargash family business which had its humble beginnings on the southern shores of the Arabian Gulf.
Before becoming the Chairman of the Group, Mr. Samir Gargash initially led
Gargash Motors and General Trading businesses where he acquired new
distributorships in the UAE.
Over the years under his leadership as Chairman, Gargash Group has followed a customer-centric philosophy, and the Group has pursed all its business objectives in a very ethical manner.
Shehab Gargash
Managing Director & Group CEO
Mr. Shehab Gargash is the Managing Director and Group CEO of Gargash Group. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Daman Investments, a non-banking financial services company based in Dubai, UAE since 1998.
Prior to establishing Daman, Mr. Shehab Gargash enjoyed a successful 12-year banking career in the UAE, initially with Citibank and later with Emirates Bank International (now Emirates NBD). Currently, he still serves as a Director on several regional boards.
Born in 1966, Mr. Shehab Gargash is married with four children. He holds an MBA and a BBA, both from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, USA.
